This is a good book that goes over the HIPAA laws in detail and breaks it down into an easier to understand format. The only problems I have with this book is that it does not contain the HITECH information that I assumed would be in it because it was labeled 2011. When the book was written they had yet to publish the final version of the HITECH act and so it touches on it in the book and lets you know of possible future issues, but it does not really ensure compliance of the act because it doesn’t have all the information necessary. Had I known I would have waited until a 2012 version of the book was released and gotten it.
